This LL Bean 3/4 length coat hits at low thigh/knee level, depending on your height. The insulation is 650-fill "DownTek" water-repellent down. It''s water resistant & machine wash/dry (remove the faux fur ruff prior to washing). The hood is both adjustable and removable. Velcro strap at back allows adjust forward/back on head. The faux fur ruff can be zipped off if desired. The coat front zipper is two-way, making it especially easy for driving or sitting outside. The 2-way zipper is protected by a storm-flap reinforced with grosgrain ribbon and secured with hidden snaps. The front of the coat has a zippered pocket on each side. For warmth, these pockets are flannel lined! There is a fairly large zip-closed pocket on the inside right front. Left side has a flap-covered pocket for keys or a kleenex packet The sleeves have soft interior wind-break cuffs, nothing cold up your arms.
